Something really awkward and funny happened yesterday. Do you find it funny too?

So as usual yesterday I went to the UB City mall of our city Bangalore, India where I talked with several foreign expat women. But as it was a Wednesday afternoon, the foot traffic was low. But I saw a pair of East Asian women strolling the mall after they were done having lunch. From far they looked young. I initiated conversation with them waving at them and saying hello. But one of the woman was just smiling a bit and looking at me for a while still walking. Yeah they weren't stopping to talk. I also noticed when near that they had fine lines on their face so they are definitely older probably in their 40s and I am 24 but they still looked cute. So yeah she was just smiling while looking at me and was walking and not trying to talk to me even though I tried to have conversation. Eventually I felt "Its getting a bit awkward now so just let them go" and then I walked away. It felt quite funny tho hahahaha/
