Genetics are a B*TCH
Granted, celebrities/rich people probably have access to way more.
My mom died horribly at age 68. Here's a list of celebrities that outlived her (by YEARS). Seriously, how?!
I can only guess genetics.
Steven Tyler (singer in the band Aerosmith) - Alive aged 77
Joe Perry (guitarist in the band Aerosmith) - Alive aged 74
Ozzy Osbourne - Recently passed aged 76
Hulk Hogan - Recently passed aged 71
Dick Van Dyke - Passed at age 86
Trump - Alive at 79
Biden - Alive at 82
Barbara Eden - Alive at 94
Sohpia Loren - Alive at 90
Carol Burnett - Alive age 92
John Fogerty (Credence Clearwater Revivial band) - Alive at 80
I included hard rockers and celebs because from my understanding, they abuse drugs and alcohol ALOT. As well as bad sleep schedules and stress, etc.
So hard for me to understand how my mom, basically a nice easygoing clerical worker, then nanny in the later years, could die so horribly and so fast.
I've said it before but I'll say it again, and again and again til it makes sense...she never abused drugs. She didn't even like pot. She drank maybe one beer a day. She smoked cigs but only for a few years in her teens/20's.
I just want it to make sense.
My brother knew a guy in his 30's who only ate healthy. Pure proteins and greens, exercised. He died in his 30's.
This one 23 year old worked for us, 3 months in he died. They said the family had a history of heart issues and he drank too many energy drinks.
I think all of this is because I am trying to justify drinking.
If I'm not going to live past 68, then I want to enjoy every drop.
I say 68 because that is honestly the family average.
My grandmas, grandpas, uncles, aunts, they just don't live long.
I do this thing where I try and drink as "neatly" as possible. Silver tequila, chased with a very low calorie low carb white claw. I avoid beer and excess sugars in chasers.
I guess I am the experiment.
Sadly, if anything happens to me, none of you will know how the experiment turned out.
So far I made it to 37.
Only really been drinking since I was 23. And it was a slow build. My current level started around 2020.
Again I think of people like Amberlynn Reid. Who has been morbidly obese for at least 10 years. She's about my age. Yet she's still kickin'.
Life is so odd
