I'm ready for this crazy-making control stuff to be over

I have to be around her tomorrow on my own and I am sure she's going to start things with me and I need some mental tools to deal with it haha

You sound like you're prepared. I've found silence accented with the occasional "I see", "Really?" or "Excuse me, I have to tend to this" is enough to pacify them.

@onrealityofdreams she's teaching me things (begrudgingly) and I know she will poke and prod but yes, I am going to mostly just stay quiet
@caccoon Good. I have a feeling she likes getting under your skin (or anybody's) and giving her the silent responses and civil treatment will probably discourage her.

@onrealityofdreams it helps a bit but it's really unpleasant to be around still. She's very angry and passive aggressive but that's her and I can control my own reactions to it
@caccoon I get the sense you're able to do that, and do that well, which is just one of the reasons why people want you as market manager.

@onrealityofdreams I try my best to be calm and fair at work and recognize that everyone is just doing the best they can
@caccoon A sign of a good manager.

@onrealityofdreams I don't even mind who gets it, as long as it's not someone who goes around getting angry at everyone, telling her story over and over and over, making vendors ccry and generally being a moody nuisance while doing things last minute and making it my problem

😩

I didn't expect this process to be so uncomfortable but that's okay. It's only a month (hopefully)
@caccoon That kind of atmosphere has always proven to be destructive. You are the type person who would create a positive and therefore productive environment.

@onrealityofdreams thank you for saying that 😊😊
@caccoon You're welcome but it's true.
