I am obsessively thinking about what life would be like if I got the market manager position

But I need to remind myself I will be okay if I don't get it, too.

Twice I went for promotion. 1st time I got laryngitis the day of the interview. The 2nd I didnt get the job. But, I was so glad I didn't but got the experience for it. I wish you all the best, either way.
