My son's dad sets a bad example. He makes it so much harder for me.

He only cares about himself. As if his lazy disinterest in everything thing besides himself isn't enough, he gaslights you about it. And on occasion my son will try it out too...

I am not raising a man that thinks it's cute to be selfish and expects people to tolerate his bullshit. Not in this life.

His dad is going to find his own place when we move.

I'm going to be selfish-idiot-free soon and I can focus on building my son and I back up.

It never stops hurting when people pretend they care, then they let you down without even trying.

I'm so done with this BS.

It’s sad that you are having to deal with that on top of everything else. I went through it with my ex when we got divorced, never let him move in with me. But he tried every way he could think of to undermine my attempts to raise our daughter properly. She told me a lot later on, not when it happened.

Your son will be okay once that constant influence isn’t so constant anymore.

@ScreamingFox I know it. Kids will emulate their parents and pick up on things, it is normal. For better or worse. I was terrified when I first adopted my kids, but it worked out.

I believe in you. I love you. You got this.

Ugh this though.
ScreamingFox · 41-45, F
@Notsimilarreally yeah I'm going to try and avoid it for the rest of my life

I thought his dad was out of the picture already
ScreamingFox · 41-45, F
@Degbeme no, I'm not going to keep him away from his dad.

@ScreamingFox Oh okay. My misunderstanding
