I'm very easy to get rid of.

If I try for someone, it's in my own way, and no one needs to appreciate it, I'm just trying to be kind and caring. We're all human, we all deal with things differently. I can accept that. I extend my heart because I care, but I am so imperfect, it's unwelcome.

And with a constant fear of rejection, you only have to hint at me getting lost, and I'm gone for good.

We only fear rejection because we are afraid others will see us like we see ourselves. You have to accept yourself and love yourself. Only then others will do the same.
You don't have to believe it or think it's bullshit. But that's just the way it is.
Otherwise you're going to get old still not liking yourself wondering why nobody ever liked you.
