Trying to decide if I should apply for the market manager position

I love the market so much, I love the people, and what it is for our community.

I'm passionate about our market and keeping the fees low for the vendors, while providing good and healthy food for our community. So many young families start at our market, as a vendor or as a member of the public.

I have a good grasp of what the job entails, but will need to learn some new skills to fill the position.

It comes with a giant apartment, beautiful apartment in a heritage building utilities and water included.

I might start writing a proposal next week.

I'm just nervous because I have never been a manager before (but have filled the position for a time while the manager was away initially while going through her divorce, and times she's gone away).

I know the vendors and board love me. I need to start believing in myself and go for it.

Right?

Right.
