There was a city of people smoking meth at the end of the market canopy

They left a whole bunch of garbage around, and I didn't wanna have to pick it up. 😩

So I walked up to them and was friendly, I offered them water. So I brought them a few gallons, and a stack of cups.

I told them they were welcome to be there, but asked if they would pick up their garbage before they left.

By the time I came back with more water, they had already cleaned up most everything, and I saw them picking the rest up before I left.

I would like to build a good rapport with them so that hopefully they will stop leaving their things around there. Especially since some of it isn't safe (crack pipes and needles).

But I think it's important to show kindness and offer trade. And I am happy to give them water and cups in exchange for them cleaning the space. 😊

The market manager always treats them kinda shitty and has mean nicknames for them. I think that sort of thing is gross. I understand these people can be unpredictable, and I exercise caution.

But it's important to treat everyone as a human. Kindness and love are so important.
