My son is super into throwing things right now.

When he gets upset, now he's started ferociously emptying the laundry basket. Knocking whatever he can off the table. Throwing whatever he can, small or large. And he's a run away. I can't get him to stay in the campsite for the life of me. People have talked to me about it, jsut feeling bad for me. Man....my kid is wild. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong. I never yell or talk meanly to him. I try to co regulate for him calmly best I can.

The one thing that happens though, is sometimes we argue in front of him and I see that it affects him. I know it's a problem. We argue way less than we were, we were in a bad place for a while. But last night it happened for the first time in say, weeks to a month. And little guy got upset. It was heartbreaking and we toned it down and I switched my attention to him in a positive way. But still, could this be the cause of his wild man behaviour? He's going to be two in two months. Maybe it's just normal terrible two stuff? Ugh this is hard!

It's just hard.

They are affected by arguing, but I think it's better if he lets it out as opposed to some kids who hide and hold things in. He's old enough to teach him some stress relief in healthy ways, but he's also a lil dude and they go non stop anyway.

It's very hard, but it gets better in ways. This is when moms find all their patience lol

I think you're doing a wonderful job. It's difficult to be on mom duty all the time, we get a little wired and if you're already hyper vigilant you'll notice every little thing and analyze it.

@Notsimilarreally you're an amazing mom because you worry like you do lol

@ScreamingFox oh and I do! I'm really good at it 😂
They are wild childs at that age. Always moving. On the go. Sometimes throwing, hitting, biting is just them not knowing how to communicate their frustrated.

My Gson right now going through a hitting stage. Doesn't mean they're a bad child or you're doing something wrong,

Yeah normal terrible two stuff

Once my family’s neighbor brought my lil bro home and she was like “is this your kid?” he had walked up the block by himself and we didn't even know he was gone

He used to like to throw stuff too..
