Yesterday met this woman from my MBA and it felt surreal. Do you feel its a good thing?
Yeah nowadays as I am mostly in home as I am about to graduate MBA soon and have no classes and searching and applying for jobs, I go for evening walks in our local area in Bangalore, India. But whats crazy is while walking on the sidewalks of the area where I live, I met this woman who was my MBA classmate during 1st year in 2023-early 2024. Actually we were walking and passing by but she saw me and surprisingly called me name and then we talked. I didn't expect her in this area as our MBA campus is 20 km away from my home and she used to live in a PG room close to campus but she shifted her as she recently joined this workplace as an intern or trainee. So she asked me where I was going and I said I was going for a walk. Then I asked her whether she lives here now and she said yes.
She is 23 now and I am 24 and I shared about my recent incident in the previous company where I interned and I even asked her whether her company has any vacancy so I have chance of joining it but she said she will let me know if there is as she has my number and we are connected on Instagram. We literally talked on the sidewalk. I was also very confident talking to her with a proper eye contact. I was still a bit shy during 1st year and she knew it too plus she is a bit introverted too so I didn't expect her to recognize me and initiate the conversation on a sidewalk. Plus she lives close by so we can bump into each other more and meet more maybe. It felt great you know. She is a Hindi speaking girl tho from Chhattisgarh state of India but living in Bangalore for 2 years and I am from Siliguri in West Bengal living in Bangalore since mid 2008. Damn I still can't believe I met her and we had a good conversation without our other MBA peers around.
