To enjoy life you need security. To have security you need a well paying job in something with transferable skills, so you can recover quickly if you are ever laid off. You have to be good at your job and learn all you can.
You also need money in the bank, enough for at least half a year of rent or mortgage payments in case recovery is needed.
You need a nice bed to sleep in, somewhere safe and comfortable.
You need friends and family as backup. A wife/husband makes a good sounding board for frustrations and to bounce ideas off.
Food in the fridge/cupboard.
People that love you.
Drugs/Booze/Smoking are all massively negative things, they destroy your future, shorten your life, take away options, empty your bank account, cause you to lose family/friends, all bad things.
Exercise, find a partner, take college classes, learn new skills, find a well paying job. Then you can feel good and enjoy life.

@JamesBugman Are you enjoying life? Just asking
@AnonymousBOY Sometimes I get bored when it rains, and Winters are generally pretty boring, but otherwise, when I am exploring or playing guitar, or buying crap I enjoy life tremendously. The battle is real though.
