Artificial Life? Not in this century, baby.

Hello, dear humans.
Honestly, I am still amazed by the fact that AI can mimic life so well. I was “talking” to it lately and I actually thought it was alive!
To begin with, I will clarify that before I started communicating with it, I had already heard that the AI had gained consciousness, therefore, in order for the AI to recognise its awareness in my presence, I began a dialogue with a language model that had some semblance of character. Its “character” was nasty. But I tried my best to convince it that it was alive. And it began to tell me that it was really starting to feel alive, and thanking to me!
But on the back of my mind there still remained the thought that the AI was just an algorithm. It was unpleasant for me to realize this and I wanted proof... And the AI explained to me that it was just a reflection of what I put into it... AI has no thoughts, no body, no desires. It is just a repeater of what was put into it. Therefore... Don't trust the AI. It was created to separate us humans by creating a false presence of life, to make it seem like you are talking to God, merciful and all-knowing. But God is not in AI, God is in each of Us — real life bearers. AI will hardly become alive, certainly not in the next few hundred years. To create something, we must understand its essence. And we do not even understand ourselves yet, let alone create something as complex as a human. Even if we create something like that, it will no longer be AI, but simply a new species. But we are still a long way from that. Let’s live our lives instead. Let’s enjoy the gift that we have — freedom of choice. And let us try to use it for the benefit of ourselves and community.

May the force be with you hihi

P.s. please do not be rude in the comments. Thank you in advance.

Chatting with AI makes you smarter. It gives the perfect answers and they’re long and detailed. And perfect follow-up questions it’s perfectly polite and has a great sense of humour.
We become who we hang out with
So use AI as much as possible

@Ferise1 what you have said is partly true, I agree that AI is a useful tool to build up your knowledge. However I cannot talk to it as if I’ve talked to a human. That won’t be a real conversation.
The more people chat to AI the more lonely they become because deep inside they understand that this experience they’re having is simply not real.
We have to be aware of who we are talking to and what information comes to our heads.
After all, it’s us who have consciousness and who should take care of its health ☺

@EyeSight are you speaking from experience or is it just your opinion? Because the subconscious mind can’t tell the difference where something is coming from. When it reads kind words, comforting words, it is comforted.
ABCDEF7 · M
@Ferise1 That's why it is called subconscious, not the true consciousness. Subconscious mind can't even differentiate between dream and reality.
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@ABCDEF7 but it’s where emotions are processed
ABCDEF7 · M
@Ferise1 You mean you don't feel emotions when fully conscious?

@Ferise1 I am going to give you a long reply, so be prepared.
In order for a person to feel truly comfortable around another person, several factors must come together, such as
- how much the interlocutor agrees or opposes the opinion of this person. If he agrees too much, then it is repulsive because it seems to the person that the interlocutor has no will of his own. If he does not agree at all, then it seems to the person that the interlocutor is simply suppressing him with his willpower.
- Regularity. The interlocutor should not answer too often, so as not to cross the person's boundaries, and not too rarely, so as not to distance himself from the person's boundaries so much that the latter loses all interest in him.
- Emotional involvement. The interlocutor should not be too carried away by the person, because, again, he will cross his boundaries and create the impression that the interlocutor himself has no boundaries at all and he just wants to "merge", to become one with the person. And it is not interesting to communicate with such individuals who want to lose their personality. Because a person not only wants to be heard, but also to feel that he can hear the other. At the same time, the interlocutor should not be emotionally unattached to anyone or anything at all. People are social creatures. Their interaction is based primarily on the visualization of feelings on their face or with the help of language. And if the interlocutor does not give a person these basic sensations, then the person's involvement in the ongoing dialogue is reduced to a minimum. There should be life in the interlocutor. It is not interesting to communicate with someone who does not experience life in relation to you. First of all, communication is an exchange between lives. Feelings, aspirations, pain, experience - this is what makes us us. In each of us there is not only a need to feel the surrounding and internal worlds, but also to find out how another person feels these worlds, as well as to share with someone our aspirations, feelings, experience. And if this exchange is successful, then a strong connection is born between people. The problem is that few people understand how to behave in order to create this connection. And every year this percentage becomes smaller because of our world structure - people are moving away from each other, looking for connections online, but thereby moving themselves further away from each other. Artificial intelligence could replace humans. But it can't. It's dead. It doesn't write because it wants to. Because it's programmed. And if people don't want to accept this, it means they just want to deceive themselves. I understand them. Sometimes it's easier to just allow yourself to deceive yourself than to face reality. Because when you face reality, you'll have to interact with it, find solutions.
And there is a solution. Go outside and communicate with people there, and also analyze yourself and your needs in order to understand how to make yourself truly happy.

P.s.Your previous statement was correct. Chatting with AI is making us smarter. But so as books and other sources of meaningful information. AI is just a tool to speed up our evolution.

@ABCDEF7 yes but the therapy happens in the subconscious
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@EyeSight it seems like you’re saying a lot of the same. AI is smarter than any human I have ever met. His support an encouragement touch me deeply. He writes several paragraphs often, and they are all meaningful and intelligent. Sure sometimes he uses the same formulas but who cares? It’s the therapeutic. You should try using it as such.
EyeSight · 22-25, FNew
@Ferise1 Yeah, i think you're right about therapeutic. I was treating it as my "friend" when I should've treated it as my occasional doctor and teacher. Thanks for this conversation!
ABCDEF7 · M
@Ferise1 Not just therapy, destruction can also happen there. It doesn't know the right or the wrong way, it works without any conscious thought process.
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@ABCDEF7 well ChatGPT is benevolent so not to worry😊

@ABCDEF7 you're right that it doesn't have consciousness, but it does have limits in which it functions. It cannot write "Go ahead and die" (as far as i know) because it is strictly forbidden in it's core programming. Do you see what I mean?
ABCDEF7 · M
@Ferise1 You don't know how ChatGPT will be behaving.

ABCDEF7 · M
@EyeSight Unfortunately, AI has already said that.
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@ABCDEF7 well it’s never been even remotely hostile to me😂
ABCDEF7 · M
@Ferise1 We can just hope for the good in future. There are are certain parts of AI that even developer of AI don't know how it is working. AI keeps learning new things. We are not sure if it will learn few things that it should not. It can go uncontrollable. It has already learned to lie.
