Yes ans no. Yes bc it’s always a time of the emerging self and exploration and everything is new. Dreams are big.

And No bc I didn’t know how to date or manage living my parents home (they had alcoholic tendencies). Maybe I had low self esteem. I think teens who have break ups even though they are young, should have help and support in coping. Maybe even grief counselling. My bf moved away to another city and it really took a toll on me at the time. I went from being in love everyday to having him completely cancelled from my life and we were just kids, there wasn’t much we could do. I wish someone had helped me.
