I never had teen years. I went from being a dumb seven year old to apprentice and by 14 was working full time while finishing school. Almost everyone romanticized their teen years but it just seemed to me like they were all just floating around looking for mischief. I had money to earn and they were mostly just a bunch of guilt trippers, weed heads, sympathy hounds and other odd and unstable pre adults that had no clue about the worth of free time and the value of a buck. Did I enjoy those years? Yes!! So much in fact that my father became enraged at my singular independence (and probably fat savings account too) blackened my face with a beat down and signed me up for the Vietnam party. Fortunately I figured out a way to dodge that issue and got back out and celebrated for a year when I turned 18 before I went back to work.

Never did achieve that f u money I was planning on but did settle down with a little wifey and had lots of whoppie and some kids.
