This writing style…reminds me a lot of someone I know who has a gentle and poetic heart. The resemblance is uncanny. Even the reference to the lantern, a reference I didn’t expect to see other people write about appear in this writing. Have you always written in this way, or has this been a recent insight?

@Simulation Yes,… I love writing with a touch of poetry. it helps me express the emotions and sensations I feel about an event. Lanterns have always held a special place in my heart. Back when nights were darker, lighting a lantern didn’t just bring light….it brought hope.

@Renkon There has been an image which stayed in my mind since childhood - a candle in the dark, with an unwavering flame even in the rain. Years later, I met someone who I told about the candle, and that person spoke of lanterns - lanterns all over the world, lighting the way in the dark. The message was, "You are not alone. There are others who too, bring hope into the world."

I don't know what to say, I think I know the purpose of this writing, but there are some writings that make it more sensual than needed. I'd take away this, I felt the strain melt from my lips. There are other ways to express this.

But, yes, it does elicit the question of who is holding who?

The Presence...not the platitude.

God sends His representatives in many forms, and in many ways.
He knows just what we need. In MY humble opinion, it is possible for the Holy Spirit...the Comforter...to enter even a tiny pure human being...in order to uplift you.
