Can I really bond with this girl and get to know her? Do you feel our age difference would be a big deal?

So i finaly started by new internship too which will convert to full time 6 months later. I am almost done with my MBA and she is also nearly at end of her undergrads(her degree is only 3 years). She is 20 and I am 24 so yeah we are 4 years apart but we are in the same stage of life as we are both doing internship in the same level and entering the professional world plus we are both in our 20s and adults and only 4 years apart. We both joined there today itself plus 20 is the youngest I am comfortable with at 24.

But she already got along with this other guy who has been an intern for a longer time and they are both Marathi(from Maharashtra state of India) so they bonded faster whereas we only had a few minutes interaction during lunch break and I am Bengali too but we live in Bangalore now. She is really beautiful but it was just my 1st day there. What do you feel? Will it be wrong to bond with her? Did i lose my chance to bond with her as she bonded faster with the other guy?
