You all won't believe i saw actual Tibetan Monks in UB City mall of Bangalore, India. How come they were there?
On sunday you all know I went to UB City mall of our city Bangalore again and talked with a Norwegian expat woman there. But i literally saw 2 Tibetan Monks visiting the mall as well which is crazy. Thats because I only saw Tibetan monks in more mountaineous regions. Like in my hometown Siliguri in West Bengal in India, even though its a tier 2 city, there are many Tibetans and Bhutanese people there and a big monastery named Salugara Monastery so you can see those monks. Similarly the nearby hill stations like Darjeeling, Gangtok also has them and I also saw them in a monastery of Phuentsholing at border of Bhutan in 2017.
But seeing them in one of the most upscale part of Bangalore especially in such a luxurious mall like UB City was unusual. The mall has luxurious branks like Rolex, Gucci, Louis Vuitton etc, international style restaurants, live performances, businessmen, multiple foreigners(both expats and tourists) from countries like US, UK, Germany, Japan etc and also its a very urban area with Cafes and bars and loud sports cars and luxurious cars so idk why Tibetan monks visited there. What do you feel about it?
