Listening to a gospel song I found back before I lost my faith.

Some of the lyrics were, "You've always been safe in my arms." For a moment I wondered about the validity of that sentiment.

It's not true. I believed it once but not anymore. I wouldn't have seen what I've seen if it were true. Nobody is safe, not even as a child.
