Would you talk to an old friend who hasn't talked to you for 20 years?

Yes I have done that. About a month ago I spoke to my best friend who was my neighbor when I was like 12 years old. It was pretty awesome.

I guess it depends on why we hadn’t spoken. If we’d simply lost touch, that would be one thing. But if we had ended our friendship and they were reaching out, well, it would depend on what they wanted. And I would be more cautious.
