Is there anyone here that was American and moved to another country permanently?

I'm not American, but I knew an American who went to Germany through his job. He decided that he wanted to move when his state made abortions illegal, and he was worried about raising his young daughter in a place so hostile towards women. I hope you'll be able to get away from that country, it gets crazier and crazier every day.
