I can't wrap my head around any of this plan (not that I know many of the details). I'm taking a trip in a couple weeks and I'm already figuring out where I'm headed, where I'm going to stay, and who I'm going to see. Leaving with no real plan and likely not enough money to get there would be a non-starter for me. I guess we all have different priorities but this baffles me.

@WindTherapy he and her left cause they have warrants in south Carolina bought an old raggedy work van, that's not ready for a long trip, front end shakes and it don't run well, used lots of oil, gets ten mile per gallon of gas. Only gets 140 miles out full tank, which cost 80$,each time, plus the brought a dog
@WindTherapy The 90's was fun that way, took many, many greyhound trips during that time.

@NativePortlander1970 Well in my younger days I probably did a few things that weren't well thought out in advance. I like to think I've learned a little over the years. 😎

@WindTherapy I never got into an unsafe car to drive long distance

@Lilnonames Yeah that makes no sense. Any car could potentially have an issue on the way. But to start out in something that's not likely to make it is foolish to me. But like many things in life, we take our chances and deal with the consequences.
