Good morning 🌸

It's windy and cloudy here. Fed the cats and now enjoying my morning coffee:) Today for a change I began with a ginger tea when I woke up instead of coffee.
Usually I'd have an early morning cup, then feed the cats, then some days have a second cup..

I'll begin slowly decreasing coffee. My aim is to have it once or twice a week for now, like I've managed for a whole year! I would have coffee as my weekly treat, on Saturday or Sunday. I'll get it slowly.

Now I like this change, to have ginger tea in the morning... Then postpone my coffee for later on.

I mean I do love coffee don't get me wrong.
But I prefer how my body learns to operate without it.

What else...Good, good..apart from windy and cloudy.

How are your mornings or evenings working out for you ?

Can't sleep. Pain patches not working properly for me, but I am learning what works and what does not.

These pain patches are a bit like morphine, good for making you feel doped up without removing pain.

@Bang5luts I know there's nothing to be done for a broken rib... Apart from... Making Eve ?!?! 🤣 Don't forget..in Chinese zodiac, this is the year of the snake...:)..

@being it wasn't just a broken rib, my liver was severed and connective tissue surrounding my right kidney was destroyed by the blast and force from the bullet

I wanted to make a little joke...but then I know it might hurt to laugh with your condition right now uhmm 😌😇

It's going to get better... Do all that you can to aid in your healing. Follow every instruction, add your own.. do your best and use this time as an opportunity 💓 I know sounds easier when I am outside the situation. I don't know what else to tell you, this was so unexpected and I think that overall you've been incredibly lucky you know..............

@being I am incredibly lucky. And I appreciate you trying to make me laugh. Laughter is the only thing that doesn't hurt. Coughing, sneezing etc hurts.

I just don't know how to get past the physical issues. I haven't had any mental or emotional trauma short of sadness, frustration and maybe a little fear of what's to come (the unknown).
