What were you doing back in 1977?

@Carla There is truly no accounting for taste. lol. I can listen to some folk music but a lot of it I am not a fan of. I love Bluegrass music (is that folk music?) and some of the 50s 60s and early 70s country music. I played lead trumpet in a marching band for years but gave that up some time ago.

@hippyjoe1955 i like bluegrass when it's live, most surely. It's not folk though. Bluegrass is just that.
Dad was in the navy during ww11. He played in the ships band.
Played until he died.
I tried to learn. But, i am tone deaf and have little sense of rhythm. So...im a listener.

@Carla Yes music is not a huge part of my life. When I go for long drives I usually have the radio turned off. During the evening my wife and I will put some music on and listen to it for a bit. Our listening is getting shorter all the time.
