I think selfishness comes with a big price.

I have seen what it does to people in the end.

In my life I've learnt that no good deed goes unpunished. When you give a lot and ask for a little in return and never get it I've started to be more selfish

@Justafantasy What you describe seems more like setting boundaries and expectations for how you deserve to be treated. Hope you find success doing so as it is how things should be.
