I want to try something different maybe in the spring

I'm looking into renting a fancy electric bed for a month. Like those ICU beds that recline and do stuff. I want to experience life with one of those.

Because of my current health I no longer sit on my desk I just work from bed and I use an angled pillow thing. I also have a big screen and a nice litbtle setup that works. Only thing that is missing is a webcam but it's not very necessary.

Obviously I dunno what it'd cost where you are but I bought one from amazon for about £500 including the special mattress for it, still haven't had it put together yet so I've no idea how good or bad it is...

if I was you, I'd be checking out facebook for a second hand one as it's quite possible you may find one.

@AntisocialTroll That's looks manual. There are manual ones from around $100 USD to $200 but I don't think I need it so badly I still need a smaller wheelchair which is a bit over $200 and I have to get it from my own money.

I will tell you more about the FB market place tomorrow because I feel too tired 😴

@PiecingBabyFaceTogether It's definitely electric, the remote control is hooked onto the side of the bedframe and the black box is the thing that makes it move.

An electric bed is much better than a pile of pillows. I regret not buying one sooner.

@PiecingBabyFaceTogether it is, but it's a good investment. The way I decided is as follows: wow, roughly € 3000 is a huge investment... But it will last about 10 years. That's about €0.82 a day, which is more than a fair price for not being in pain all the time, or at least not nearly as much. I can easily earn that back by being able to work even 10 minutes a day by not being in pain.
