One of my boyfriends once brought me flowers after he ((cheated))

I rejected him and I was stoic about it, but it really made me cry after I closed the door.

Then I heard my neighbour bragging to someone he found a bouquet of flowers on the floor of the apartment building and he took them to some random girl and got laid 🤣

Loooollll the ciiircle of life

Flowers are a pitiful way of making up for cheating

@Jexie well actually this wasn't just after he cheated on me, but that was why I left him. He brought me the flowers to try and get me back

@caccoon Yeah, still not worth it. No remorse. He made his choice

@Jexie I completely agree 💙 and that's why I couldn't like him again. But it's taken me a long time to get over that betrayal. Not him, just why people do it, etc. I'm learning to finally let it go

@caccoon Not everyone does. Always a few bad apples.

@Jexie in some ways I don't blame him

@caccoon Why?

@Jexie it was my first relationship, and maybe his second.

I was super messed up (from my family stuff) and I tried to be good and make food and take care of him and things but we both didn't know what we were doing. I guess he wasn't happy (neither was I) so he moved to someone else.

We lived together though and she was in my classes and yeah it was hard. I still don't like the name Cristina 😬 and Fergus makes my tummy turn

@caccoon Moving on should be done after breaking up, not by cheating. But yeah, people do a lot of dumb stuff when they're young
caccoon · 36-40
@Jexie yes and I attribute it to that for him. And I think I am difficult to be with because I am so sensitive and anxious as a partner. I can be soooo calm and content on my own, but being with someone makes me something else.

But yes cheating is still very avoidable and completely inexcusable.

@caccoon Hmm I can relate to that. Being with someone calls upon us to deal with our issues which otherwise would've been hidden when on our own
