I used to race cars in 1990s and this one race I was in the top four spot.
The leader lost control, spun out and we all crashed into each other right before the finish line. I was spinning around in circles, hit the wall head on, Boyce back and crossed the finish line backwards. I was in first place.
I went from 4th to 1st in seconds

I didn't even know I won for a few moments after. I was in shock and hurting quite a bit too. As my leg got jammed under the lower dash and I couldn't get out of the car.
