Why I'm not allowing myself to be as vulnerable with women as I am with men ?

what is it I'm reacting with..

interesting new points whilst I'm getting ready for work. There's a 17yo girl I was sharing the shift with yesterday and I noticed how she's in this Very defensive mode with women but so open with men.
I recognised myself there at that age.
But 20 years later and at 37 now, I'm still noticing that, I still am having something that I haven't explored yet with the feminine energy.
Of course it's not that I have found out everything about men, but it's fascinating that, being a woman I still seem to know more about the masculine rather than the feminine energy.

It's actually not in your hands to allow or disallow, as you are just reacting to how others look at you. They are men and women from your perspective, but what you are is from their perspective.

And you seem to have got the energy part wrong.

@in10RjFox well try to help me understand then ?

@being sure. Firstly we have been mistold about masculine and feminine energies. It's a misconception that males are masculine and females are feminine. Truly, the spirit that makes us live is masculine and in which it resides is the feminine.

Masculine energy can never be seen or touched but can only be felt, while feminine energy can be seen.

An example is that the wires through which the electric current runs is feminine and the electric current is masculine.

@in10RjFox I always thought of it the other way around. That masculine energy is structured, the container whilst feminine is the contained.

@being good analogy of container and contained. You just need to see how it's applied.

Now that we both are exchanging our thoughts without any clue of how we look and not talking or hearing, which energy are we using?

@in10RjFox Masculine, because you are mansplaining.

@daydeeo looks you just got to know about mansplaining recently.

@in10RjFox that's interesting. In my viewpoint the energies are interchangeable.
So in this case I'd say that the internet in its wholeness as a web-space and platform is feminine and our exchange is masculine.

But when it comes to a traditional home, men used to provide the shelter/structural building, more like how birds build a nest, then feminine fills it up with its multiplying spirits (joy, kids, etc)

Nowadays both energies do so.

I understand how a feminine energy can exist in a man's body and vice versa.
I understand also how a woman can go through a masculine era or a man through a feminine era.
But our bodies, as intelligent expressions of the energies, are mostly built towards one polarity or the other, again in the meaning of expressing this polarity.

And of course within us, we all contain both feminine and masculine energies.

In Chinese cosmology (brief intro but containing a lot already), there's the Yin and Yang (Taiji) who came from the Wholeness (Wuji, Oneness) and they later divided into 4 elements(energies):
Tai Yin (meaning the most feminine energy)
Tai Yang (the most masculine)
Lesser Yin and
Lesser Yang (self explanatory).
Then these later divided into 8 energies
I've studied for a year in China Taiji (Taichi) and Bagua (Baguazhang) and am very interested in exploring the energies. My perspectives are shifting, regarding the era I'm walking through, so I'm always interested in exploring...:)

That's just fantastic. You can see you understand better when you apply. But you need to breakaway from beliefs and also analyse various things you were taught, as it would cause a lot of conflicts within you.

Let me give you some more findings that can help you transform your beliefs to knowledge, as once we know, we would stop believing.

* Masculinity (yang) the formless is always contained within feminity (yin) like a child in the womb of a mother.

* We were made to believe that we are opposite sexes, but in real we are complementing sexes of the same gender.

* Gender is dynamic and not static, as evolution let's nothing to remain in the same state. ( Which agrees with your observation of masculine era & feminine era).

* Books and education is what makes us believe and assume things, without letting us analyse and come to an understanding on our own.

I am really in awe by your interest and disposition to learn. You are very close to attain Nirvana on your own.

Let me know if you are interested in reading further.
