Currently my therapist is trying to help me go back through my childhood memories and identify what I needed and wanted in those moments

And actually visualizing my adult self helping my young self... It helps so much. I am starting to love her

Coool. I practiced that with a therapist about a year ago...was a VERY emotional experience. Crazy to see and think of your young self that way, hey.
