I literally got emotional after talking with this girl for real. Do you feel I am overreacting or something?
Yesterday in my MBA, I talked with this girl(lets call her C). I am 23 and she is also 22 or 23 and we talked in person before and she has always been nice and warm to me and always smiles when we talk. Yesterday me and C talked again and she even asked about my exams. I asked her to share her Instagram too but she said she has deactivated her Instagram but anyways next time i might take her number when we neet again but talking with her made me emotional as she is a Punjabi girl and she reminded me of this girl(lets call her D) who distanced herself from me recently and she is Punjabi too.
We live in Bangalore in India now but I am from Siliguri in West Bengal so I am Bengali and both the girls C and D are Punjabi. The distancing from D was heartbreaking as she was the first girl in my MBA with whom I initiated conversation without any friend's help as I was shy near girls before. Me and D talked with each other for 10-11 days but i was getting to know her and was enthusiastic about this connection. I remember how casually she was talking with me and she said she is a Punjabi and is a pure vegetarian.
C is definitely much more extroverted and warm whereas D was more introverted and soft spoken but I was enjoying talking to her. But suddenly she(D) unfollowed me on Instagram in Sept when i was in my hometown Siliguri and after returning back to Bangalore when I met her again, she clearly said she doesnt want to talk to me anymore. It was on 18th Sept 2024 so its been over 2 months but still got emotional talking to C yesterday maybe because she is a Punjabi too and is warm and friendly to me and wish things didnt change with D as well.
