Garden drama: bird songs

I was sitting in the sun, trying to relax. Suddenly I heard a dove sound like it was clearing its throat.

Dove: Ahem!

I ignored it, but it was on a shed close to me.

Dove: Ahem!

Me: Mhmm. Thanks.

Dove: Ahem!!!

Me: Okay. Thanks. I get it. Please be quiet so I can hear the other birds sing. 😕

The doves flew away, and all the other types of birds stopped singing. My bad. They got a solo today, and I ruined it.
