Oh, It's Far From The Rock 'N Roll Life

..that I thought that I might be living!

Saturday evening was spent - after seeing the wife off for work - being the, ahem, glorified 'roadie' for our daughter as she was doing a 90 minute guitar lesson for this guy. I'm also, of course, the chaperone too being as she is a pre teen.

She's fantastic, of course, and such a good teacher too. Whilst the guy wasn't the beginner status, he was probably as good as me. It was lovely to watch and to hear. Funny, thinking back, that I was the one - alongside @SammyJo - that had bought her her 1st guitar and giving her those initial lessons. She has grown.

Anyways...after the lesson, some cheese and crackers and cups of tea or us adults, fruit juice for teach!

Get back home and, shortly after, Hope goes to bed.

Leaving me with the telly and a glass of wine.

That's how we rock in the Duponte-Durose household!

My son had a friend, Sam while growing up. They went to daycare together. His mom Sandy was divorced and was a nurse so on weekends he would hang out here sometimes. One day he asked about the piano that mybwife had left behind. I had some starter books and had had a few lessons with Nick so I sat him down and started him out. By the time Sandy came to pick him up he was playing songs. He was a natural. She had no idea thst he was a musician. He learned a bunch of instruments, played drums in a band. Went to North Western and no does something in the recording industry.
