@Musicman I have a Yamaha Pacifica electric. Our daughter has an Ibanez JEM Jnr. She's 10 1/2 and been playing around 3 years now. She's a huge Frank Zappa/Steve Vai nut. Here's a link to one of her recordings.

@KarenDuponteDurose That is so cool. I just listened to the song and commented on it. She is really good. Any chance of getting a picture of the guitars? What are you using for amplifiers or do you both share an amp?

@KarenDuponteDurose I like Zappa. Apostrophe being my favorite album but I like them all.

My son had a friend, Sam while growing up. They went to daycare together. His mom Sandy was divorced and was a nurse so on weekends he would hang out here sometimes. One day he asked about the piano that mybwife had left behind. I had some starter books and had had a few lessons with Nick so I sat him down and started him out. By the time Sandy came to pick him up he was playing songs. He was a natural. She had no idea thst he was a musician. He learned a bunch of instruments, played drums in a band. Went to North Western and no does something in the recording industry.

@Royrogers It was nice, but becoming a bit of a norm these days...

@KarenDuponteDurose I have not had any children. But good for your child and appears to be something you support. Not a bad life by my reckoning

@Royrogers Indeed. Thank you.
