Anyone else unable to let it go when they make a mistake?

Any time I make a mistake, I REALLY let it get to me. I am unable to let it go, and it wrecks my confidence and self esteem. I automatically think I'm unintelligent, incapable, and a failure. It may seem like a dramatic reaction, but this is the direction my brain goes. It can be just about ANY mistake, too. Big or small. This is why my confidence stays in the gutter. *Sigh*

In practice, you become confident with failures. The more failure you get, the more experiences you gain. But of course, it's a matter of not making the same sort of failure multiple times.

If you think about how others see you, you will feel pressured. Just think of self-love, and imagine the person you wish to be. A better person than yesterday. Fight to be her and nothing else. Give yourself a pat if you fail. Pout, then try again. Encourage yourself. Your own heart needs to hear you believing in yourself. But also, be there for yourself to catch you should you fail. That is one true way to be strong.
