Why is an extension cord cheaper than food

I can get a 25 foot extension cord for $10

A jug of orange juice and a loaf of good bread costs more.

I guess they want to make it easy to hang ourselves.

Its crazy how that works.
People nurture the food growing , but nature does most of the work.
Plastic, metal wire ....it all has to be manufactured...

...it makes no sense.
