Do you believe most people's lives are just the roll of the dice?

I don't believe that quote some people say "Life is what you make it" .. the hell it is!! For example I've tried college, didn't work out. I've tried to make it happen with guys, none of them took. I've tried to get better paying jobs, didn't work out. I have talents, goals, ideas, ambition, doesn't mean it's realistic enough to happen. It just seems everyone's life around me, the cards fell just right. Life happened in a way one would think. You eventually get married, make more money as you get older, your possessions are upgraded. Life might suck at times, but it improves overall. Not mine!! Set back after set back, disappointment after disappointment. Glad I'd never actually act upon suicide because I've felt that many times through the years.
