I am finding out that people are more lonely and depressed now more than ever is that riflght?

Lots of reasons for it.
Decline in economies worldwide.
Means the money in your pocket buys less than it did pre covid.
People move further from home due to work or college because they can't afford to live nearer home.
Massive expansion in online media specifically aimed at largely your demographic.
People your age are more likely to spend more time on sites like Instagram; tik-tok;; Snapchat; X etc. so perhaps you're not socialising in the same way as you did before all this stuff became available.
That's isolating.
And then there's the stupidity that is modern politics.
Headed by leaders who want to divide people rather than unite them.
