I just sat by the river with the dogs for half an hour

They both ate grass, while I sat in it.

We saw five fish (well, I saw five, Addie saw one and then wanted to go after it).

We watched leaves and garbage pass by.

We listened to bird song, and the chatter of schizophrenics.

A young man whom I've seen around town all day today, changing clothes, taking things out of his backpack. Putting it back in his backpack. Screaming randomly and darting around.

He politely asked me for a lighter. I didn't have one. He said, "sorry for bothering you"

Then he asked another guy for dope.

Lucy dug up a small tree (I think that's the opposite of what we're supposed to be doing).

Then the dogs got restless, so we moved on.

On the walk home, there was a very jacked and scary looking guy gesturing wildly to himself and talking angrily.

He was behind me, I crossed the road.

He crossed the road. I walked out into the street a bit to let him pass, he walked out onto the street behind me...

I scooted home and locked the door, he continued walking and picked up a box and threw it (its garbage day).

That was our adventure. We arrived safely home.

Why does it seem like any random human encounter in your life plays out like one in Skyrim?

At least that's the gist I get from reading these

@caccoon I'm guessing she didn't succeed selling that turtle?

Once I got scolded by an old woman for drinking a water bottle. Stop drinking water! The only water you ever need is in the coffee you drink and the food you eat!. I don't even drink coffee

And on the city bus I saw a guy that looked exactly like Popeye the sailor man. He even wore a Popeye shirt, so he was definitely self aware

@caccoon I could go on, but I'll just agree. Definitely

That started out so lovely and peaceful, and then I got whiplash a couple of times. I'm glad you made it safely home.
