What advice you would give to your 18-year-old self?

Girl, you have time. Don't get married at 18. Especially to a bad guy like him

Don't get married at 18 to that young lady, (not the word I want to use,) she'll just hurt you and leave you. And she did...she also left my 3 month old son with me.

@Bexsy Yes, he was, but even though he was an infant at the time, it scarred him for life. He finally tracked her down and went to meet his mother when he was like 30 years old. She spent a day with him and then left again.

@Bexsy Yes, he did eventually realize that, but the years of damage it caused him couldn't be undone. He died in 2005 at age 30.

@IM5688 I'm REALLY sorry to hear that; I can't imagine the pain of losing a child at whatever age.

@ElwoodBluesThanks. It's very tough to lose a child. I think we all think that the parents will go first, but not in my case. I lost my son in 2005 and my daughter in 2019. My ex-wife is still a basket case over our daughter.
