opinion on an adult "bed time"

When should a regular, functioning adult aim to go to bed?

Do you aim to get 7, 8, 9, 10 hours of sleep?

What amount feels "rested" to you and how old are you?

Whenever they have to to get adequate sleep to be able to work or function well the next day. I prefer 7 hours. My schedule just changed. More hours on days than nights. I like this day mode much better.
