Today I did something very important.

Years ago, 2017, I had created this Facebook group and along gathered this big group of artists on my island back in Greece. I, along with a few others, have been organising an art exhibition in a forest, a kind of art festival but small scale, with art installations in nature and many events around that.

Today I logged in that group, wrote a small text thanking everyone and I removed myself from the group.

It doesn't sound big, but to me it is, since, in the midst of the stress of the organisation plenty of things happened, like, I was physically attacked by the partner we've been organising it together, they sue me for vandalising ancient monument (we painted in an abandoned cave, that later found out it was an historical site), I've been stubbed behind my back multiple times.
But now I know better, these things don't just happen, I must have been a pain in the ass for many and apart from creating beautiful things, I created also lots of pressure.

It definitely concluded in me being exostracised from the community in some sense, feeling unwanted to a degree that I completely shut down, then moved to taking drugs, and generally it was something that impacted me a lot.

I've been into it, holding meetings and organising the little festival for four years.

And today, I mean, I should have done that years ago but today, I removed myself from the group.
