My dad told me something interesting today.

It seems, in the not so distant past, if you ordered something, it could take as long as three months to actually get it! Nowadays, I get pissed if it takes four days! Do any of you older members remember those days? He said, he would have to order things in September to guarantee they'd arrive by Christmas! Lol

Yes I remember. We would get a catalog and in the catalog there would be a form to fill out with what you want to order. You calculate the total using the form and mail a check with the form or sometimes they had a section to enter credit card information. Then a month later or more you would receive what you ordered.
