Yes i have a 14 and dropped in water by mistake and it was fine. That made it worth it to me.

I have no use for a expensive phones as I rarely take pictures.

I only paid $400 for mine and I regret it. I have the SE iPhone.

For me, it was about the 5X optical zoom and the USBC.
