So did i do the right thing by not initiating conversation with those women or i should have tried to talk with them?

Today i went to this restaurant Tomba Kitchen in my city Bangalore in India which is a Manipur style restaurant. Manipur is a state in North East India btw. So in the restaurant i saw these 3 young women sitting who are probably from Manipur too or maybe from another North east state of India. They were definitely in their 20s and I am also 23 so we are basically in the same age group and they wrre very pretty and they looked like South East Asians like most north easterners do. I really wanted to talk with them but I was shy and afraid that what if they find me weird or creepy. So i kept my mouth shut and ate Manipur style smoked pork curry with rice and some Manipur style mutton dish and had coca cola too. There was this older middle aged man who is probably in his 50s and is from North east india too and he asked me what i was eating and I said pork and he said its a delicacy there. But suddenly he talked with one of those young women saying they are both wearing the same wrist watches and smiled at them and those women too smiled and laughed back. I was surprised how a man in his 50s can confidently talk with those pretty young women whereas I am just 23 and within the same age group as them and couldn't even say a Hi to them. Idk whether i did the right thing or i should have tried.

You aren't going to get anywhere if you don't try.

@hunkalove But they are strangers. Anyways you won't believe that my hometowns Siliguri and especially Falakata is close enough to the North east states of India so maybe we could have had a conversation about it. We all live in Bangalore now.

@Heroisthebest23 It always helps to have something in common. Even just the weather.
