Do you really feel it was my fault or do you think those both guys kinda overreacted?
In January, I messaged this girl named Ayushi on Instagram who comes to the classes where I go too but we arent in the same classrooms and never interacted before so i was still a stranger to her so she never replied to me. We live in the city Bangalore in India so these are all Indian names. She is within the 22-24 age range and I am also 23. Suddenly last month, this guy named Akshat who is also in the same classroom as her confronted me asking in Hindi why did i message Ayushi and that he is her boyfriend. One of the guy in my class was there too and he surprisingly asked "Tuney Ayushi ko message kiya tha?" which can be translated as "you messaged Ayushi?" in Hindi. I said yes and said that I didnt know she had a boyfriend and i also said Akshat that I am already having crush on some other girl so yeah finally Akshat said its ok just dont message her again. Akshat still sometimes brings this topic if we bump into each other but for few weeks he didn't.
Similarly last month a similar thing happened when i messaged another girl Shreya who too goes in the same classes and she is also Ayushi's and Akshat's classmate and definitely 22 or 23 year old too. But Shreya actually replied and we had a normal chat but suddenly i got some calls in my phone from an unknown number. When i picked the call, it was Karthik who is Shreya's boyfriend. He was saying in Hindi too that he is her boyfriend and why did i message her and he told me to meet him in the institute next day. I got scared and apologized to him on whatsapp saying i didnt know she had a boyfriend and told him too that i have crush on someone else. He too told its ok and told me to never message her again. Karthik and Akshat are friends so they both one day did say to me about the fact that I messaged their girlfriends but I said sorry and they didnt attack me or anything. Was it really my fault btw?
