It's not everyone's responsibility to make you better.

It's only up to you to figure out what works for you, who you want to be, what you need to get there and go with it. But don't place that on others, you'll waste time.

Human are communal being and a social species. We ideally should work as a team; all for one, one for all, prioritizing "we" over "me". Because I believe we should embrace this ehtos, I think it actually is on everyone to carry one another's weight. But I do agree that happiness is something we have to put some work into ourselves if we aren't happiness, and not just wait around for everyone to save us. Ideally tho, we would all have a place in the world; I think everyone deserves that, and I think society as a whole is responsible for providing that.

@BRUUH Humans may be a social species but social doesn't equal moral, neither does communal. In nature, there's no such thing as moral or immoral but yet lots of animals can be considered communal. Tribes had to move up to 200 miles in any given two weeks to run away from slave raiders plus lots of slavery/war between them and Christian and Catholic enclosed communities has lots of abuse allegations still to this day not to mention their sordid colonialist history.

The point of my post isn't to say that people should or shouldn't "be anything," it's that it's not up to me for other's actions, they have to want to change. Nobody should carry you.
