When your legacy fits 😌😂
I used to be part of a work group that helped people decide what was in error and how bad that error was. As with everything else in my life, I judged a lot of this by how it made me feel. When the group would get together, we’d discuss our rationale on individual decisions so we could learn from each other, and one day, short on eloquence, I just said the situation gave me an icky face. We chuckled, and it seemed to resonate and sometimes someone else would use that rationale. I left the group for a year and a half to work on another project and attended my first meeting recently on my return to find myself lauded as the original icky face. 🤣🤣🤣 Apparently that silly term for a gut feeling cemented itself as part of the group and carried on in my absence. Completely made my day. 😄
