Does looks really matter? Will my new crush reject me because of my looks?

I have shared about this girl Akankshya in the institute where I go for classes to prepare for exams to get into an MBA B School. She is within 21-23 age range and I also turned 23 over a month ago and we finally talked a bit 3 days ago with the help of my friends and one of her classmate as I was too shy to approach her. Yesterday and day before yesterday we couldn't meet as i didnt see her in the institute and today is weekend so we can again only meet on Monday. Btw she is one of the prettiest girl i have ever seen. She is just too pretty and cute and pretty much looks like a model. Her classmate said me that she is single when i asked him that day whether she has a bf or not. But idk whether i have any chance with her as I don't look that good honestly and I am a shy person too. I am scared that whether it will be worth it to go for her.
