I read that Mark Twain received his first patent for the garment fastener on December 19, 1871.
His clever invention only caught on for one snug garment: bra.

@SW-User After he saw his wife took long time to get dressed, so he was thinking about shortening time to get dressed for women at that time. He is so practical.😊
