Another Beautiful Springlike Day Today In Central Oklahoma. The Boy is Wearing Shorts To School Again…

@Sojournersoul have had to tell the boy to wear long pants some days when he was younger. He would hear the high for the day but it’d be windy or something and not healthy to be outside in shorts.

@cherokeepatti See kids at the bus stop with no coats on, shorts and tshirts in cold weather. Parents must not care.

@Sojournersoul Or they are latch-key kids because the parents are off to work before the bus comes to pick them up. They may dress properly until the parents leave and then switch over to what they want to wear and then come home before the parents arrive and change into house clothes. I saw an older girl standing at a bus stop one morning wearing heavily ripped jeans and it was cold and windy. I don’t know why anyone would do that but she was shivering out there.

@cherokeepatti That is so true. Why they want to stand out there and freeze is beyond me.

@Sojournersoul When I was in high school no one wanted to wear a raincoat or carry an umbrella or wear rain boots to school. So a lot of soaked kids in some of the classes. Sometimes had to go to different buildings in the rain.

@cherokeepatti there will always be some of those kids. lol. We all had them.
